Individual therapy involves a wide range of personal treatments, including counseling, guided meditation, and AccuDidge among others. Studies show that a variety of individual therapeutic treatments, such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), play a profoundly supportive role in the successful completion of an addiction recovery cycle. This form of therapy isparticularly useful in treating co-occurring disorders, which (by definition) involve an entirely deeper level of unmet personal needs. Clients receive a minimum of two individual therapy sessions per week while living in our sober living facility, and up to two individual therapy sessions weekly during the intensive outpatient phase of our transitional living program. These ongoing sessions will be devoted to exploring methods of dealing effectively with the barriers listed in the treatment plan. The therapists will utilize an array of therapeutic modalities to overcome problematic thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
